McKesson Authenticator is a free application that provides two-factor authentication (2FA) through time-based one-time passcodes (TOTP) and push-based authentication. It adds an additional security layer for supported McKesson websites.
In my evaluation, the tool is straightforward to use for typical 2FA workflows, offering both code-based and push-based options to accommodate different authentication preferences.
Configuration requires registering with the McKesson Self-Service Token Management Portal. To enable MFA for an account, you scan the QR code displayed on the portal with the McKesson Authenticator, linking the app to the user's account.
